It is so good to hear Martin's voice again. Been missing it. Glad I decided to look up some Gene songs today - that is how I found out about this. I was just about to write something extremely nostalgic......instead, I will just say that this is a lovely, lovely song and I will definitely be getting the solo album when it comes out.

Not only is he a great songwriter, his comeback this time around shows us his pure talent as a singer. His tone and his vocal techniques surpass any brit pop vocalist I know. Although Martin may forever be compared to Morrissey (sadly) and I'm also a Smiths fan, I prefer listening to Martin any day now. There's so much emotion and sincere passion in his songs. Wish him success for his new album.
