i was born during the late 50;s and remember woodstock , I was living over seas at the time of its creation but i lived it back then the long hair the pot I was to young for the war but i do remember it... I think we need another one to wake up the world.

re: your statement that hippies were idiots: it took a lot of guts to have long hair back then - you'd get harassed, beaten, jailed, killed, ridiculed & not taken seriously.

the hippies that didn't work had a reason not to - so as not to have their taxes go toward the vietnam war & the establishment/corporations.

Hippies planted the seeds of change, which is now OWS. the time wasn't right, then.
