Welcome to a new era in military aviation: the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II - the world's only 5TH Generation Fighters. These aircraft signal the arrival of battle-changing systems and are the only fighters that will defeat the threats of tomorrow.

5TH Generation Fighters represent a quantum leap in air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities that provide an order of magnitude increase in operational effectiveness over legacy fighters. These capabilities ensure air dominance for the U.S. military and allied joint forces from Day One and for decades to come.

  • I'd like to humbly correct the description. These are not the only fifth generation fighters in the world ,other manufacturers such as Dassault and Northrop Grumman have produced fifth gen. fighters as well. I apologize if I am mistaken or if I have caused any offence.

  • @jasonmrazscuzin

    don't worry none taken.

  • @AnimusPipboy Reread his comment. He's basically saying that while Russia brags about how their T-50's and PAK-FAs kick ass (which they do), in real combat they are to the F-22 as a Kia Soul is to a brand new Ferrari.

  • @Urbanfresh445 O hell yeah i see the burning US parts falling to the ground baby!

  • lets make 1,000 more of both these and forget about anyone else in the world who pretends to fly their baby toys

  • Why not thru making f22 in to uav?

  • @imporacer forgive me, my information was partially incorrect. Most of the combat that the F-22 has seen is simulated, although it has seen actually seen legitimate combat in 2009 (or it might've been '08 or '10, I need to check my facts again) over the Russian/American border in Alaska, when it intercepted Russian Tu-95 bombers. It had, though, achieved unimaginable feats in simulated combat against "Red force aggressors" flying F-15s and F-16s. It's lack of actual combat experience is mostly

  • @Normison69 you are partially right. It is very expensive and expensive to maintain, however it HAS in fact seen combat on multiple frontiers and exceeds all expectations (I'm referring to the F-22). While Miyogan-Guerivich (MiG) fighters and most Sukhoi (Su) are more maneuverable, you rarely ever see F22s in conventional dogfights, as their radar and missile tracking ranges far exceed that of any other fighter. So in a way it depends on what you consider good.

  • This plane has been killed, it has never seen combat and its "stealth skin" melts in the rain. It suffers a critical failure every 1.7 hour of flight and for 1 hour in the air requires 30 hours of maintenace. It cant communicate with other planes. Its so lightly armored that it cannot withstand small arms fire, so it cant fly low. Plus it is not most manouvarable plane out there. SU-35, SU-37, MiG-35 and MiG-29 OVT are more manouvarable. Supercruising they have also. Sukhoi PAK FA is better.

  • @AntiTroll101 I assure you, I'm anything BUT humble. Check my other youtube comments for proof. I'm just a teenager who'd like to believe he knows it all. XD
