@Izaak247 and M 0 to 1= any 2 or to say it in other words you re already dead. hope that helped a bit. i wouldnt write down all that stuff, but you asked for the math. gg and gl
-
@Izaak247 to calculate M: stack divided by (sb+bb+9antes) = M. so at 100/200 antes 25 with a stack of 5k its 5000/525 = 9.24. that means you have enough chips to survive 9 rounds w/o playing a hand before you get blinded down. M of 20+ = green M where you can steal and play a bit more like a cash game. M of 10 to 20= yellow M where you should keep in mind that you are more likely to be all in. M 5 to 10= every hand you open has to be good enough to call an all in with. M 1 to 5= push or fold
-
@Izaak247 the average shouldnt bother you too much, because in a turbo its around 15 to 20bb in the late stage and in a rebuy non turbo it will be around 40 to 60bb (especially the non trubo rush rebuy). so in the turbo everybody could be the next one out and a shortstack can become chipleader in a few hands. i would use the bb amount in the early stage and M ( your stack divided through the preflop pot ) when the antes kick in.

Poker* not poor lol

You won like 7 when there was like 20 people!!! I love that line hahha. Btw question too all good poor players, I see a short stack as half the average chip stack and I don't consider how many big blinds I have because I think that because i have half the amount of chips an average player has, that I am half as likely too beat em.... Is this strategy wrong? Please explain and tell me if there is math involved or something. Thanks y'all
