That thing is a ***** to get off but it worked! Tip: don't be afraid to pry for your life because the cable under it is going in the trash anyway

I've follwed this and a great help but I'm at the last stretch. I inserted cable #3 fine then the other two and they 'clicked' but I can't slide my glass back and slot it into place because cable #2 seem too short to reach. I don't understand how this is the case because the cable is the same length as the one i replaced...and pointers?

hey thx man, i took iphone 3g apart and put the whole metal box in 3gs, works like a charm!
