this is maiden flight of all-wood cessna 172 from the hobbycity. she is a nice plane right from the beginning of the building. does have some weakness though. vertical stab is hard to line-up, battery compartment is incorrectly made - i have to shove battery into the nose, way beyond prebuild battery location. undercarriage is a completely different matter, it is almost unusable in default configuration - reinforcing of the firewall where front gear is attached is a must and rear gear must be held with 3 screws and ears, not by 2 as by design. also, default wheels so small by default, so it is unlikely you will be able to take off from anything but flattest pavement. i end up by installing much larger wheels without wheelpants.
she flies nice and steady, feels better in the air than average small parkflyer, more like much larger plane.
i haven't felt any tendensy to tip stall, she just drops the nose if speed to low, but do not use rudder while airspeed is slow - she will snap in no time!
what king of wheel did you put in? and where i can but it. im thinking of building this plane as my first plane .. did you recomend it?

@dmoya0723 any correct size will fit. it just must be a little large if you plan to fly from the grass. i do not recommend it as a first plane though. too hard to repair in the case of crash.

It this the only way you can get the batery in, by taking off the wing?
