The trouble is that China is quickly catching up, on everything!
They now have a fully functional stealth bomber and an aircraft carrier is in the works.
They even beat both the Europeans and Russia in getting an equal to GPS going!
And, yes, this is a very nice looking locomotive.

Chinese had made trains for about 100yrs from steam to now high speed.

I always thought that the QRN 4000/4100 class was the gold standard as far as modern narrow gauge loco's are concerned.I don't think these will be a patch on those locomotives

Just saw other videos of this new DL Loco,,Nicer looking than the munters we call class 70's here in the UK! Mind you,both owe their design heritage to the BR Class 58. Would like to see those DL's over here!
