here's my rough idea of the song with new chorus chords. i really liked the original melodies, so i didn't alter them. i just changed the chords underneath them. i think with some good production and arrangement behind it, this song can be rickity rockin'.

oh, and here are the chords for those that are wondering:

the end of the verse chords are slightly modified to lead into the chorus...so the last progression before the chorus is Em, A, and G...held out.

Then the chorus goes as follows:

D, A, G...

then

D, A/C#, Em, D/F#, G Bb, A

(i did a double chorus that develops a little more)

  • So far I'd been dreading changing the chorus chords... but I actually like these.

A lot of the others seemed forced...

but I really do like these...

  • thanks dude! yeah, when rivers said he wanted the chorus to start on the "D", i didn't know how i felt about it...but i understand since "D" is the key of the song..he wanted it to hit hard going straight into the chorus..and what better to make a strong chorus than to start on the root?

  • is that korn in the video?

  • dammit. i was hoping no one would notice. hahaha.

  • clever how you changed up the last verse chord to make the D chorus sound less contrived. i like it. especially how the progression is different (dipping to the Em) the second time around.

first time around: does it go from G Maj for a bar to G minor for a bar? if not, that'd be kinda cool, methinks.

  • i like it. nice chord change be for the chorus, to it starting on the D. Thank was the edict we recieved!

  • we have a winner- what is the progression?

  • your chours fits great dude, nice
