@mody5alat good luck with yr interview...sometimes they are looking for people who speak certain languages..if they are in need and in a hurry, then they take more people from certain countries and they might not be so strict about some of their own criteria...what is definite is that they do not employ older people..maybe max 32 yrs.I always say, that if they like u, they will employ u. u should try again after 6 months. be persistent and u might get in.
@flightie777 i went to the emirates interview before and attended till the last process of the screening day which was the Circule discusion but unfortunatelly i failed in it .. but i will try again in june 2011 wish i could get it in the second time ... by the way am from EGYpT and am muslim .. they only look for the personality coz i saw more guys and girls more qualified that me and cuter than me and they failed from the first interview.. even some parts in the english test was about personal
I've seen not so good looking ones at Emirates. I know as I have seen them in different countries at the airport. I am a flight attendant myself. Last time I've seen their Cabin crew was in Shanghai. Quite frankly, aside from their stature their faces were nothing above average.
@canuckete ...I wouldnt say that Emirates is racist..they do employ black people. I have personally had batch mates who were from Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, Kenya etc..and they also employ people from different religious backgrounds as well. There were Moslems, Christians, Budhists, Hindus etc.
The only thing that they really look for is good looks and young age...to them I think thats the most important thing.

good luck with your interview. would you mind if i ask you how tall you are? so they're more concerned about the English proficiency?
