thanks for checking out the video. I went to NYC last summer and I was shocked because I couldn't get cell phone signals under ground. In Tokyo, its no problem. Cell phones work no matter how deep underground you are. So just another little trivia?

By the way, what was up with that dude at the end of the movie ehy?

  • aren't you not supposed to use cellphones on the subway in japan? like its disrespectful or something

  • yeah, they have a rule, I dont think its the law but, the rule basically asks you not to use the phone on the subway. But you can totally use it on the platform and around the station. just not on the train it self.

    thanks for your comment man!

  • That's suspicious.

  • @StreetEnglishTV what would YOU do if some random foreigner came up to you with a camera and asked what you were doing, lol

  • you scaredd him lmfao xD

  • Lol he takes 6 steps backwards, like he's about to run from you

  • Here in Poland we have around 99% GSM (actually EDGE) coverage. Even in mountains 2000 AMSL, in subway, deep in the sea (10km?). But the subway is entirely underground so connection is lost 10s after train starts.

BTW I think that was not GPS but GSM. The transmitter was just over your head so cellphone did exactly know where you are.

  • Did you say "Zashi desu ka?" ( I think you were asking him since he had an umbrella if it was sunny? hahaha)

  • you're great, your videos are really interesting. bye .from Italy
