this jamboree was an amazing experience. I worked at Trading Post B. B standing for best trading post out there. The whole time was awesome with a mix of scouts, work, chill time, and girls. Switchfoot made the whole experience even better.

@Enviromentall - Grats!! What Trading Post have you been assigned to? I'll be at Trading Post C again, myself.

@Enviromentall I called the National Scout Office and found out when I was inquiring on a few other things. Plus, our Trading Post Coordinator sent out a couple e-mails to let us know about some things a few months ago.

In 2005 a Troop from Alaska was setting up a Circus size tent (which all attendees were told not to bring anything this big, but it is what it is) and when the four adults were setting it up, one of the poles hit a power line. The adults were electricuted and I believe three of them were killed in the incident.
Was a sad day for sure, but from what I understand the youth what happened. They immediately ran in w/water. Other adults had to restrain them.
