  • @taijicheng

Thanks Taijicheng. Has been quite a while since I logged into youtube. I know the chinese characters are beautiful. I am a third or 5th generation overseas chinese depending on either my father or mother's side of the family... local politics really made my mother avoid sending me for chinese education more than 30 years ago. Now it is better. I send both my children to learn Mandarin, read and write the characters apart from English.

  • Tanx CHina !

    Its Fantastisc !

    with love from Armenia

  • @jejaka1243 hard to translate literary Chinese

basically its about the girl went back to the garden to relive the dream she had in which she met her Mr. right

she is enjoying the blooming flowers and at the same time deploring the loss of the dream

u should learn some Chinese, the characters have meanings in themselves and are beautiful

  • Both南北昆 use 中州韵(ancient official Chinese)and 入字声(a pronunciation method), 北昆 and 南昆 singing accent are different.

北昆's accent is close to Beijing dialect, 南昆accent is close to southern dialects. Now we have 5 major Kun opera companies in China; one belong to 北昆 division, 4 belong to南昆. Even the 4 南昆 opera companies use slightly different southern accents when singing.

  • This the North division of Kun Opera. 北昆 and 南昆 are quite different in the dialects they used as well as the stage steps: 北昆 stage steps are more flashy while and 南昆 focus on being calmer/slower movements.

  • There are more than 100 kinds of Chinese opera; Kunqu and PK opera are two of many Chinese Opera. And Kunqu is the oldest form of opera in China(600 years); it is the mother of all classic Chinese Opera. PK opera came out of Kunqu ( or Kun Opera) 300 years ago. You need to update your knowledge about Chinese classic opera.

  • haahaa, eres TREMENDO!

  • whereas kunqu is more calm and relaxing

  • beijing opera is very noisy because it has mandarin influence
