While some might consider the expenditure frivolous, especially given the nation’s financial woes, it should be noted that some of the equipment was not even intended for use in the U.S. but rather was deployed to facilities in the Maldives, India and Australia. Money that could have gone to US unemployment ???

A green job is a Gov subsidized collusion between corporate and gov powers, to reduce productivity, mislead the public about resources and the natural state of the planet. A green job is one that says Mercury in your lighting and water table is better than incandescent or alternative lighting. A green job is one where you ferment crops to make ethanol for bio-fuel, creating more CO2 in the process than just burning Petroleum distillates, contrary to their stated objectives.
