Glass is a big deal for Céline Cousteau. Céline knows that Glass loves the sea, and that as a relative of Jacques Coustea, the sea is important to her.
Because Glass doesn't contain the same damaging chemicals as plastic, and can be easily recycled glass is much better for the sea, and the environment at large.
