Top-ranked Serena Williams has been fined a record $82,500 by the Grand Slam administrator for her meltdown during the semifinals of this year's U.S. Open. (Nov. 30)

McEnroe never "got away" with anything even remotely approaching killing someone or threatening severe physical injury to a judge in the game which provided his livelihood. This is YouTube, if the video clip exists which verifies McEnroe "got away" with any tirade even remotely approaching the threats of physical violence that Williams made to the judge in her match, please direct us all to that clip. Should be easy enough, you seem so sure that at least one such clip exists. Put up or shut up.

And the countdown to yet another excuse-laden explanation as to why she just lost @ Wimbledon 2011 begins again? What'll it be this year, more ridiculous, phonied-up throwing of the "race card", more phony as a 3 dollar bill alleged "injuries" to punish U.S. Open tennis organizers last year, or will it be another crybaby-moment like she had @ the same U.S. Open in 2009? When did just a classy & graceful exit from the stage because you're just too old to compete anymore get thrown out the window?
