It's pretty cool to see Matt Hilger doing well. He also had a good run in 2005. When I first started taking poker seriously, one of his books was very helpful. He emphasised the need to play tight and then get good value on your monster hands, so it's ironic that he didn't play a hand for an hour, then when he finally entered a pot with pocket aces he had them cracked on the river.

I generally fold KJ ("the rookie hand") but Luske played it so well. Checking in the dark, getting a great read and then inducing a bet and a call from the guy with queens. Very impressive.
