  • Very impressed with your teaching ability. Many people fall short in helping the viewer understand each aspect of proper playing technique. I feel like I really learn something when watching you play, and have better confidence as a result. Thanks for taking the time to post all your videos.

  • hello shakemyblues,

thank you for your encouragement. hope the other videos will be of help to you as well.

  • very nice

  • master!

  • I don't know if I just haven't gotten to it yet in this series, but I would like to see something with a reggae with the bass tones on the off beats. I see you primarily keep the bass tones on 3 and 4, but what about the and of 4? or wherever. just play around with that idea.

  • Do it slower

  • I'm a very new player and your videos are very good. I need to see things very slow still. I hope I can learn many of the rhythms you present.

  • You are a very good teacher and player.

I'm not learning Djembe but I really enjoyed your work.
