i have 2 roughs there kinda lazy i though they were going to be like a pit bull we had who ran for like 6 hours straight is that normal of collies?

@Saul0052 If "kinda lazy" could mean "not hyper" then that's a good thing! Collies love to lounge around and just be pretty, but they are really watching everything. If something is out of place, they'll let you know. (OCD). Mine have playful romps about 6 PM.

Whites have a color defined head, ie Susie is a tri-color headed white, Pearl is a blue merle headed white, etc. Anomalies happen. One needs to make certain the eye-check is performed by an ophthalmologist! BTW, some dogs cost even more than that!

Your Collies are beautiful!! My mom had a Sable and white, and I had a sable and white named Smokey. She had cancer and I miss her very much, I never saw a collie before with a white body. I did find a breeder not to far from where I live, but she wants a thousand for one puppy!! There show quality!

Thank you. Sad that you miss your Smokey, but glad that you had her for a while. I first saw a white collie in a picture of LBJ, (a president), with his. Loved it- took me me 40 yrs to get one!

@1sioux920 one thousand is a great price, i show and breed as well i paid $2,000 for my blue merle and $2,000 for my sable and White male , my other sable and white female was for $1,500 and she is not able to be shown cause she doesn't fit the bill of the standerd so she is a pet, and we are getting another show puppy this week who again is $2,000 if the breeder has a puppy that is a show prospect $1,000 is a great price ,

most collies go to home's as a pet not for show for $900 limited

I saw a add in a dog fancy magazine that showed all white Collies for sale! Solid white - no other marks on them at all. They had one blue eye and one green! They wanted 1,500 to 2,000 for a puppy! They were beautiful but I can't imagine spending that much money for one dog!
