I knew this was 95-96. Jordan was there, Barkley was a Sun, and the Rockets were champions. Back when I actually cared about the NBA and Sundays were devoted to the NBA on NBC double headers.

The NBA is still great, but 1996 was one of the greatest seasons ever. There was 136 wins worth of team in the finals, Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley, etc were still great, and you had up and comers like Shaq, Payton, and Hill who had become established stars. The level of talent and the quality of that talent was just amazing.
