This is an "ON AIR' lighted sign that I wired up to use in the ham shack. Looks cool and works fine. It will let anyone in the room know when my TX button is pressed and my mic is live..

If you would like to find one similar to the one I am using, just do a search for "on air light" and you will see several versions out there from many companies.

  • @TheKC1ML Thanks for the comment. It is just a fun item in the shack and gets a lot of attention. I think you could find most of the stuff you needed in a hobby shop to build one as far as the colored lens and lettering cut outs etc if you wanted to build one and light bulbs at an auto store..good luck...Larry

  • Niice!! job!. I've wanted one of those for a long time. You've inspired me too build my own. Thank you for the video and the idea.

    Regards,
