CCRA's third Technology Impact video provides an overview of DropBox's functionality for the official and deposition reporter, firm owners, scopists, court reporting associations and personal use. Please take a few minutes to learn how to use DropBox to organize your workload, collaborate with other reporters, go paperless, work with confidential transcripts, and provide daily transcripts with realtime scoping via shared folders. DropBox provides the resources to meet the delivery requirements of your transcripts mandated in Section 2025.510(d) of the Code of Civil Procedure as well as Section 8025(d) of the Business & Professions Code.

Specific installation of Dropbox is critical for CAT software. I have found some Court Reporters that make their Dropbox folder as their CAT user folder. This is a mistake. CAT software accesses realtime files and/or work units continuously. Making the Dropbox folder the same as your CAT user folder can and will result in problems. Just thought I would mention that as I didn't se anything about installation in your webinar. Very nicely done for the subjects it covers! Thank you!
