  • @Solumic Pontiac didn't fail. What makes you think it did? GM Stopped producing pontiacs because while they sold like hotcakes, they weren't making enough profit from the brand.

  • Its a belt tensioner pulley. The bearings wear out. When it started happening did it make a whining noice while accelerating? 60$ fix 5 min job. Nothin serious. If you do not replace it it will seize and your belt will shred to shit and you will get stuck so get it done asap
