As the title says, two CSX GP40-2's (4436 and 6393) are hard at work switching cars together this evening. Both units are running. So THIS is what a Centennial unit (DDA40X) must sound like! Amazing! You really need a good speaker system and/or subwoofer to fully enjoy this video. Note that 6393 lacks dynamic brakes: This is the first Geep I've seen in Taft Yard without them.

  • What's the point to the train moving back and forth?

  • This is called 'kicking'; every time the engineer stops after reversing, the last car on the train detaches and travels down a sorting track to the correct train. This is repeated until all the cars are sorted.

  • Hey man, Mind if I use this video's audio for one of my model videos? I'll send the video to you if you would like.

  • Not at all! I'd love to see it when it's finished. ^^

  • i believe ur right about the air compressor. i should've known that. don't ask why that didn't occur to me.

  • LOL just a silly mistake, it happens to all of us. xD
