  • Actually it's healthy for her to feel territorial and protective of her surroundings.

    Life in captivity should have at least some aspect of 'the wild' so she can be a well rounded and healthy bird.

  • I totally agree with you ShawnGabby about it being healthy for her to guard her territory. Any time my birdies are doing instinctual behaviors i believe it feels very good to them - they are doing what they were born to do. They are doing birdie things and being birds and not concerned about anything else.

    Do you keep a humidifier in your house for your birdie? Just wondering. I have ten birds and keep a humidifier on during the dry months. They really like it.
