Overview

An Ageing Young Rebel was created using a digital Canon Rebel camera and Final Cut Pro. It is a stop motion animation where the visual narration is loosely set to the music/voiceover of dj Food and beat poet Ken Nordine.

The Website interface is influenced by the work 'The Paradise Institute' by Canadian artists Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller.

Nominated for at the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts ( http://www.caeaa.com/ ) in 2006 for "Best Student Classical or Stop Motion Animation"

  • i like i aint heard this rhyme since 2000 spooooky Mr Ripley spooky

  • nice work, really has the mood of the tune, thx

  • The idea seemed cool. Too bad the sound was so irritating and the narrator's voice unintelligible behind the loud strumming noise.

I'd more then like to see the same thing with a well mastered sound, though. Everything else seemed perfect...

  • @arkae129 plus vid, of course!

  • shut up . what an awesome track!

  • This is so good it gives me chills at times.
