Yeah right, I had an Axe-Fx Ultra, and can tell you one thing for sure after owning, #1, a 79 Marshall JMP Mark 11, and Mesa single Rectifier, a mark V, many fender 2x12 amps, vox, you name it buddy, the Axe-Fx is awesome for studio, no question, but DOES NOT CUT IT as a live rig for stage. Does not compare to real tube BIG, FAT< Punchy sound. Not even for a second. Its effects are wicked awesome, its amp sims, not even close for live application. It emulates studio sound only.

@rastadarrin if you want real tone, get real tubes. Emulation is for schmoes!

By an Axe Fx dude. Sounds way better, and 100 times more versatile.I owned a roadster, it is gone now.

@hawg427 that is a black plate but the light reflection makes it look chrome.

Did you get the Chrome plating special order or did it come std on your Mesa head. I've only seen them Black in 2010-2011
