The former head of Haiti's Chamber of Deputies says singer Wyclef Jean is about to announce his candidacy for president of the nation still struggling to recover from the Jan. 12 earthquake. (Aug. 3)

Haiti's freedom is paid by money and it's people's blood! 70% of the country's capital went to France, until 1922. In 2003, that was about $21billiion, more now. Did the Bahamas have to do that?
