The Proclaimers are post-punk, not proto-punk.

you were rockin' that uke Rob! 5*

I don't know how I did that. It was a pure accident. I would never be able to repeat it ever again.
Serendipity rules.

that delay makes it sound like you are strumming like crazy! awesome!

In the sidebar I give some instructions on how to play proto- punk.
It took about six lines to get the description right. In a lucid moment I realised that I could have reduced it to a single a single line.
Play like Keny and the Kaptains... they are orgasmic man!!!

i really like the manic strumming and how the vocals slowly build up toward the end.

If you get a chance listen to "oh jean" on the Proclaimers CD "sunshine on leith" Strap on the headphones and be prepaired for an aural extravaganza
It lasts for over 5 minutes and it build to a frenetic orgasmic climax.
You can get a taste of what it is like by clicking on the link in the sidebar which is taken from the proclaimers live gig in 2001.
Charlie and Craig rule. Anybody who wears Buddy Holly specs can't be all bad:-)

I did not quite get the vocal frenzy that the proclaimers get at the end of their song... for that I would need a twin.
Craig and Charlie would make great callers at a ceilidh. I could dance the buckles off my shoes to that tune.
