Lola the Husky opens a door!

Lola, a resident of Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood, was tired of being left at home while her friends were out and about. On this historic occasion, she decided to do something about it. Huskies are known for being escape artists of the canine world. Steve McQueen, Houdini, this one's for you.

I like how Lola got busted at the end of the video (the person filming the video just waiting for her by the door as soon as she got out. I wonder if she learned her lesson afterwards?

I don't think it is always necessarily the husky side to blame for canine escape artists. I've seen labradors and beagles escape in all sorts of fancy ways but the problem here is that a lot of people pay attention to the medium size wolfy-looking spitz type breeds more. The truth is, any dog with an observant personality is prone to escaping and huskies are just among the many.

My mixed breed dogs (3) had a mom that was part Huskey. Now I know why my boy dog is such a good escape artist!
