Have a Sugar Addiction? About Nutrition, Wellness, Diabetes

Because of the American fast food diet, of soda, sugar is consumed in toxic amounts and acts like a drug in the body. This causes hunger, cravings and massive blood sugar fluctuations.

This causes health problems, leads to diabetes, obesity, organ damage and early death.

Minimizing sugar in your diet is a huge secret to effective weight loss and improve your fitness.

  • I agree there is sugar in amost everything in america that is why i choose fiber rich foods and fruits, veggies as a source of food.

  • All the candy and sweets in the background was a very poor choice. Its only making me want to go get some ice cream and drink a bunch of soft drinks or something.

  • @zdeaf I think you're body will tell you. If you're heart rate goes up significantly after a meal and you feel like you need a nap, you probably had too much sugar/carbohydrates in your meal. Also, if you experience frequent headaches or stiff joints, this could be from consuming too much sugar. I just try and eat most of my carbs in the form of fruits and veggies. Sugar in the form of raw honey, sucanat, or good quality maple syrup is okay, but in minimal portions as well.

  • Exactly how much sugar is too much? How much is toxic? I need to know in teaspoons and grams, how much is too much, because my body doesn't tell me. How many grams are in a candy bar? Is that a toxic amount?

  • u can knock off tons of weight in three months more or less with minimal exercise. in fact, after losing twenty thirty pounds this way, u will feel lots and lots of energy and ur mood will be uplifted.

  • btw, 2 lose weight and reverse diabetes, cut out all processed and junk foods, severly reduce if not eliminate white rice/pasta/bread, no sodas, colas or even fruite juices, just water, no red meat, and lots of chicken and fish with lentils and beans accompanied by veggeez and fruits and nuts/seeds. and o yeah, fish or chicken must be grilled or baked, not fried. may also need a good multi vitamin with extra b-complex vitamin, extra chromium, magnesium and vitamin D.

    if u religiously follow this

  • no wonder americans r fat as hell----our soil has depleted levels of vitamins and minerals and on top of that, most ppl dont wana spend time or energy 2 prepare/cook healthy food from scratch---its just so eazy dropping by a mcdonalds and order from da dollar menu, rite?!

poor and disadvantaged people in South Africa?

Please advise, also If I would like to have my own video made, how much will it cost?

  • Good Show Thanks fort the vid

  • Cabochick23, that's easy. Replace sugar with meat! A high fat, meaty diet is the healthiest diet known to humanity.

The idea that saturated fats are fattening or bad for your heart are completely wrong, junk science. When you eat a lot of fats, your body excretes all the fat it does not need. It's called ketosis.

Check out a video with 'Barry Groves' at the 'Wise Traditions' conference. It's on Vimeo.

Cool book: Ignore the Awkward: How the Cholesterol Myths are Kept Alive by Uffe Ravnskov.

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!
