Dredging for Georgia gold in Buchanan, GA. Here I wrap it up or the day, show my setup on the creek, and do a last cleanup before packing up and driving home. Had a blast in the water on a 2-day gold prospecting adventure.

Plz visit my web site at www.goldadventures.biz for more everything!!

Thanks, C-17A

  • Ktmbaker,

Well............I LOVE this hobby. Get's me outdoors, makes me work, I get to see/hear/smell nature at its finest. Natural things, playing in & around the creeks is right up my alley. I almost always find at least SOME gold. If I get even 1 speck, I didn't get skunked. I don't recommend you try and live off the hobby. Set you sights low, and always be pleasantly surprised! • No, this is the only GPAA claim in Georgia. In Buchanan, GA, close to the Alabama border, about 9 miles North of I-20, commonly called the "Farm Claim" as it's on private property & used to be an old dairy. One of the better places to pay to pan is the Crisson Gold Mine in Dahlonega, GA. Randy C-17A

  • Thanks for these vids! I live in Europe and am trying to build some small dredge system to go prospecting over here. These are exactly the type of videos that help a lot in the decision making process. Whether to have a one piece frame with floats or separate pieces like your using. The length and sizes of hoses, crash box and classifying ideas like the tin bar you added, etc.. lots to learn. Please make more vids, maybe also one with why you choose the different equipment you use. All the best.
