  • I know what you mean. I think that he used Dean alot but felt kinda pushed to do the interview. He probably liked many others models but felt he couldnt say anything.

I dont think Dime is a person that do things he dont like...

  • Zelinsky made the ML strictly for metal. Dimebag just had the chops to bring it out.The only one to play it with authority.

well Dean Zelinsky was sitting right there with him. They were friends for a long time. i think Dime was just recounting the story of how he found Dean Killtars. He was never paid to TALK about Dean, but perhaps endorsing. i know i've loved the ML's since the 1st time i saw one in Dime's hands. My son has one & it's PRIMO! Killer sound & action. The things are just built RIGHT. PERIOD. Dec. 8th 2004= the day Heavy Metal died. All the soul left it when he passed. RIP Dimebag! \m/

  • He wasn't paid to talk about Dean. He truly loved the company. He signed an endorsement deal with them in 93 , but they went out of business. So he went to Washburn because they also owned Randall amps. Around 03 Dean Zelinsky reformed Dean and Dime just went back home !!! The Razorback was going to be their flagship guitar. But Dime's death ended it all

  • Dime wouldnt have to be paid to talk about Dean guitars. If he did not love them as much as he did.....Do you honestly beleive he would tattoo the Dean Logo on his arm? Dime was 100 % about everything he loved and beleived in. I met him once and he was a loyal dude.
