..This size forklift likely has 4-5,000 pounds on the steering axle, goes right through asphalt......and yes..you never, ever walk under a crane boom..even without a load..

Ive been driving lift all my life and never saw anything like that before. I would expect a truck floor to give out but not pavement! Must have been a washout underneath.

Could have been worse. What if the crane boom collapsed when the guy was walking directly underneath the boom?
