Canon can save the whales

Canon is the world's number one digital camera company, and a major sponsor of wildlife initiatives, environmental groups, and efforts to save endangered species.

The CEO of a company that attracts support to its brand by associating itself with environmental issues ought to oppose lethal research whaling in the Southern Ocean.

Tell Mr. Mitarai, head of Canon Japan, that you want him to express Canon's disapproval of whaling in the Southern Ocean, and to call upon the government of Japan to use only non-lethal research methods.

F^ck greenpeace!!!!! Why don't they actually go south this year? Oh thats right they would rather profit from the dying whales then the get them to stop!!! Sea Shepards are a much better group at actually saving the whales rather than taking pictures of whales dying

@Tehwugginator Also, consider the following: If everyone knows about Japan's illegal whaling, why is no one doing anything about it?

I can't really speak for them, but from my view point it looks like no one really cares cause Japan has been doing it for so long and it's in their culture.

The Japanese want to eat whales, they have been doing that for as long as anyone can remember. I assure you that pretty much everyone knows Japan is killing the whales to eat them, I'm not denying that. I'm saying, JUST LET THE DAMN JAPANESE EAT THEIR WHALES.

This is exactly the same as how the indian culture hates killing cows. But you don't see them barging into the U.S. to sabotage butchers do ya?
