  • doesn't it sound like there's two guitars...particularly during the sloppy break right before the half minute mark?????!?!?!?!?!

  • @countvonjustin thats because there isnt

  • @pinkfloydrule27: great recordings...where did you find this...are they available

  • almost all of them are available, and the rest i could easily make available online, a good place to start for bootlegs is the site "guitars101" to find bootlegs there just type into google "pink floyd" whatever year you want a bootleg from and guitars101 e.g "Pink Floyd 1977 Guitars101" that brings up some decent downloadable bootlegs

  • @pinkfloydrule27 i checked out that site...had no luck downloading the Copenhagen set..could be something i didn't do...you said you have the songs on-line?

  • im not sure if this particular show is on that sire but i could certainly find where this show is online and send you the links

  • In this day and age cant someone come up with the technology to extract his vocals from the recording so that it can be remixed and we would possibly be able to hear his vocal a little better. Every live recording except the bbc tapes u cant hear Syd. It appears they played so loud and could care less if the vocal were heard. My suspicion is that most of their shows sounded like this. Maybe Syd purposely wanted to hide of drown out the sound of his vocals. Its sad because he has a unique voice

  • the poster misread the first remark! ,'D but ,yeah, it's just syd and a ton of echo and verb in a biggish room.

  • Fantastic Telecaster sound.. SHINE ON SYD!

  • @Renhjarta seriously mighty. that rickenbacker sounds great

  • @countvonjustin I think it's because Syd used a tape echo and heavy fuzz tone. It can easily fool you and make you believe there´s two guitars in there. Roger had a kinda mighty bass sound as well.

  • well, that was unnecessarily rude.

  • I would like to know where you got this bootleg

  • this is the 1st time that i started listening to floyd about 5 years ago, that ive heard arnold layne live with the original foursome with syd-b BRILLIANT

  • I've had these 2 shows on cassette since 1990. it's all Syd. it's proof that Syd was playing aCE, they just didn't like his new songs and booted him out
