  • Topology is a branch of mathematics that is an extension of geometry. It is an old fashion Token, but the people around me understand lay, Topology builds on set theory.

Good call, I am glad that there are people that understand networks - but this was only a baby show.

    Peace allways

  • @nefariant1

Splicing can refer to mending a cut line, line hacking, or... attaching a jack. I think you had your vocab mixed up Mr Nefariant.

  • @scottys55 you are mostly right scotty, except he uses an 8P8C connector, not RJ45.

  • Yo Jimbo or Vancouver Computers or whoever, this video has nothing to do with splicing ethernet cabling. It's simply a lesson on terminating it with an 8P8C connector. And Green in Not ground. And your explanation of a "topology network" makes absolutely no sense. Nice way to make yourselves appear completely clueless.

  • This guy is an idiot ! GREEN IS NOT YOUR GROUNDS !!! Green / White [DATA +] Green [DATA -].

AND... If you are going to TEACH OTHERS HOW TO "CRIMP A CONNECTOR ON A CAT5 cable" !st: DON'T TITLE YOUR VIDEO "Cat5E Ethernet Wire Splicing Demo". STUPID STUPID STUPID !!!

Please use the right tool for the job !!! NOT YOUR TEETH MORON

  • Where is the splicing? I'm looking for information on splicing. This video simply shows how to terminate or crimp an RJ45.

  • philogos0 & Fireblogging - Agreed, this isn't splicing. Change the title, it's misleading.

  • Did he say the data comes in on the orange and goes out on the brown, and the green is ground? That ain't ethernet.

  • Haters gonna hate.
