if the Nigeria government will leas Nigeria to united state or European government trust mi in the next 20years our country will be one of the richest country in the hole world not this black thief and fraud leaders
A Filmmaker and a fan of African Cinema. This is ready great Jeta Amata . I have not really been happy with films from Anglophone Africa (aka Ghana and Naija) The few films that I did like from Nollywood was Beloved and Amina. To me these two films were made with the true style of cinema and storytelling. I'm proud to say that this film is truly a cinematic art piece. And we have finally caught up with our counterparts of Francophone Africa. Lets continue to move to this direction. InshaAllah

@ojagoriiwe Take it easy. The way I see this film it will look good for nigeria and more likely to become just "another african drama" in US (no offence to my naja brothers, but... it's Hollywood). Naja film industry is famous in the whole continent so it make us very proud to have someone rep. Nigeria overseas. I guess more chances will come after but I hope they don't change their unique style of making films. Naja films are very entertaining. Respect.
@ojagoriiwe have drama, romance, adventure, action, suspense, and thrillers in historical movies...the problem also lies with the directors vision and lack of creativity to tie in these elements to make a masterpiece. Take titanic for example, that was a historical tragedy that had all these elements above stated, and what did it get...all the awards and the eternal respect for the movie nation wide.
@ojagoriiwe if you look at the movie records, you'll see that the lot of nigerian/african movies are painted with romance, thriller, and sometimes unnecessary drama...as you could also observe, these movie genres for years haven't been well represented which in my opinion is due to the fact that the desire/passion for the subject area isn't there..we have very few movies that truly educate the nations or present the problems in a different light to the average mind...you can still have
@MrDeverly1 I agree that it does but am just saying along with movies that draw awareness to these issues. They should also make movies that also paint Africa in a positive light I mean all these movies they make make it look like there is no romance, thriller, drama etc in Africa.
