Runa Laila is indeed a Bengali artist who was based in Pakistan and she did indeed migrate to Bangladesh in the late 70's. She released more than 2 albums in Sindhi and her pronunciation is emaculate. This is because her sister was married into a Sindhi family. I felt that the comment my masalanyc that a Bengali singer cannot sing in Sindhi was not correct as it points to a stereotype. An artist like Runa Laila is not bound by language barrier. The video is only lip sync. Voice is original

@deevaan Her sister , Deena Laila, was married to Amin Faheem and they have a son and a daughter. Talib-al-Maula, the poet of this song, and "To Dilari Yaar Dhutari", was the father of Amin Faheen. Runa Laila sung many Sindhi songs but she never understood Sindhi herself, so they had to write the sindhi sounds in English, to tell her how to say those words. This is a great thing for Runa, because she sang in languages she couldnt even speak in. I respect her for that

Why using fake name of Runa Laila, the legendry artist of bangladesh? Not a good way to advertise your self. Findout something else.

@MithalKeerio I asked him do you know Mukesh he replied No. Anyways this the advantage and disadvantage of lip sync singing, you will find in majority of bollywood movies. The purpose of uploading this video is not advertisement; but let people know the great signer Runa Laila sung Sindhi songs for 20years and this video show our love and affection we have had for Runa Laila.
