  • i have a question i have a 91 sc and its got a comp cam bored .030 over with forged pistons and rods but my question is is that i can hardly hear my supercharger its still running the stock pulley what can i do to make the whine much louder??

  • @Coughenour1 Not sure what all you have done to yours, but a cold air intake will give it a bit more noise. A smaller pulley with give it quite a bit more. The loudest noise is about the cheapest if you can weld aluminum. Close off the 2 slits that are silencer ports just under the supercharger top. Close those off and your blower will be really loud, too loud for my liking. Btw this video does not represent a car with closed silencer ports.

  • does SC mean super charged

  • Super Coupe is what SC actually stands for.

  • Well for detonation reasons things were starting to get ugly during the tune so timing is retarded 2-3 degrees from where I would like it. We shut it down at just over 5,000rpms where horsepower was still climbing. It made 337rwhp and close to 400rwtq. The setup is ok but I beleive I will need to change some things cam-wise and fuel-wise in order to utilize the potential of the blower and high boost that is running through it.
