News of the World legal manager Tom Crone told the Leveson Inquiry into press ethics he suspected phone hacking was more widespread than the one "rogue reporter" Clive Goodman.

Mr Crone said following Goodman's conviction he felt the company was eager to draw a line under "the worst thing in the newspaper's history".
