Bear got his 3rd leg and earned his CDX Obedience Title on 2-17-08 with a 193.5 out of 200. There were 8 dogs in the class and 2 qualified -- Bear got 2nd place! On to Utility...

Yay Bear! Congrats on that CDX. Maybe one day I'll manage time for obedience--Trip and Shiner would be great at it. :-)

Thanks Brittany, they sure would -- although I totally expect to see you and Trip on the Agility World Team before I see you in the obedience ring!!

what a great dog =) very well behaved excellent handling congrats on ur 3rd leg its nice to see someone know the breed so well and make sure that they act polite =) cutie

He did great! I absolutly love his finish, he's so happy. How did you get him to do so well with the dumbbell?

We use a clicker and went thru the steps of Take (from my hand), Hold (while sitting or standing), Carry (heeling) then Fetch (from the ground). He was consistent with each step before going to the next. He learned very quickly!
