Short documentary on the BugE, a single passenger, three-wheeled, electric vehicle. Not an advertisement-an attempt at an objective view of the vehicle.
I like to drive to another town to eat at The Olive Garden. Thats 90 miles round trip. I couldn't do that in this Bug. To me, if you're gonna have an electric car then come up with one that will do 3 to 4 hundred miles. Its not impossible. Shoot, if we can go to the moon and take somebody's heart out and work on it surely we can build an electric car that will do 400 miles or better. Where's American Technology?
@johnpham117 Simply a look at a vehicle with a much smaller environmental footprint that their combustion engine predecessors. Not intended to make it appear more or less safe than the BugE's actually are.
@TrekRollins Yes you could make the same argument and maybe that would be a good place to begin. As far as the danger that would be incurred if everyone drove BugE's.... not having a ton of education in mathematics and physics, common sense would tell me that vehicle fatalities would be much less likely. This isn't intended to portray a solution to all the world's transportation woes, simply another viable option for people that care to make realistic changes to their lifestyle.
You could make the same argument for mopeds and motorcycles. One could also make an argument that the danger in crashing is relative--if everyone else on the road wasn't driving a 2 ton vehicle just how dangerous would a BugE be?
Where can I get one

@nitojo7 Probably depends a little on the driver, but yes it would be much easier to STEAL than a traditional vehicle.
