  • The earliest music was the BEST MUSIC! Now what do we have? Rap music, terrorism and radio frequency identification chips? Forget it. Put me in a time machine and press button take back 2500 years. I can't relate to our modern age.

  • Hehe! So true. Rap= bragging about pimping, whores, money, crime and so on. Radio pop= mindless wannabe romance love lyrics cliche style. Pure shit

  • ill stick to duke nukem

  • @genslatina well said

  • @squick1842 That is why we have Dubstep. no lyrics, no problem.

  • @Elinitsam im pretty sure if you went back in time, you would realize being able to listen to good music doesnt outweigh things like dying from the flu, being forced into military service and countless other shit that was wrong with the world at that time

  • @Elinitsam

It's weird how the only music anyone listens today is rap music, it is almost impossible to find another type of music besides rap music: I heared they wanted to create a radiostation with only R&B and pop, but the censors put a stop to that: Those horrible black people controlling our lives and telling use what to listen to.

  • @TheGreatAges I haven't said that. You have no idea what youre talking about.

  • @Kan2209 Never said their lives were easy, but people definitly lived past 30. The only exception would probably be soldiers because they died on the battlefield. I think you have the "All cultures from the old world were stupid and life is way better now because I have a computer and hot pockets and I trust the FDA with my life" syndrome. If I had to choose between living in Athens or medival europe, I'd pick Athens.

  • @TheGreatAges No, I think you're confusing hollywood movies with reality, and have a mild case of "the golden age" syndrome.

People rarely lived past their 30's, many if not most died violent and/or at least painful deaths, food was scarce, people had to work from dawn to dusk to give what little they had to the poeple who owned them, and this went on for centuries, I think you need to open your eyes and a few books.

  • @Kan2209 I think you're confusing ancient Greece with the european Dark ages. The old world was smart, then people got a lot dumber, and now we're both dumb and smart.

  • @Elinitsam You'd most likely starve to death or be killed by some disease and left to die. Depending on where you were and who you'd be. Not many people lived to their 30's back in those days.
