Goat giving birth

One of my goats, Sugar, having babies. March 30, 2008. The last 2 years, I have missed seeing her kid. She has 2, a black boy and a white girl. I love the markings! So cute!

even though the baby is fine the bag is not supposed to b red. that is called a red bag baby and it can cause some serious brain defaults! also the bag broke before coming all the way though!

I got a goat with a huge lump on its right side (As if it was very fat on one side of its body) It kinda walks slow and its ass is haging low when he walks. I thought she was sick, like worms or something, I just bought her a month ago, so i dont know what she's been through, Her utter hangs lower then the other goats, is she sick or pregnant? she always seems to wanna lay down in her house. she makes light moaning noises and medium to heavy breathign when she lays down.

I wanna say BRAVO for not butting in! I get sick of seeing people who think it's so nessisary to take nature in their hands. God gave then the instincs to know what to do and butting in can only stress the mom. the only time people should intervene is if there is trouble. And it seems to me that momma knew what to do and was in good hands. You did the right thing.

I am so glad they were all healthy, you should have cleared the babies mouth when the bag broke. Also you could have helped; the first kid presented incorrectly, with it's feet behind it this is why it took her so long to have the first one. Alls well that ends well congrats!! They are so cute :)
