It's a city song. Ardie's excellent mandolin solo at 1:39, I wouldn't want you to miss that.

  • Cool... now do Free Bird! ;-p

  • Free Bird! I only know how to play that song on the air guitar, and it always sounds awesome! 8^)

  • I'm gunna go out to Michigan someday and sing with you guys.. I can bring a guitar.. but you would prolly want to have me just keep it in the case haha.

  • No need to go to all that extra trouble to bring a guitar. We have some extra guitars here that we could keep in the case on your behalf. 8^)

  • Yeah, Jason, it was weird, when I clicked on reply it automatically added the "@" and username highlighted as a link, when I clicked on it I saw all the recent comments by that username. So, I think I got a glimpse of a future feature of the site.

  • @ArdieVerde yea it's so if you cuss someone out at least the person above you knows it's not them haha!

  • Great song, especially that awesome mandolin solo :)

  • Thanks, I'll tell the guys. We may need to give that album a listen for some inspiration. I remember my little sister singing Jenny Jenkins, she learned it at school.

  • Haha, sorry to hear that. I've never been to Abilene, I would imagine that it grew out of an old west cow town.

  • Great tune, I spent a year one week in Abilene. I particularly enjoyed the mandolin solo:-)
