Union Pacific Patched Southern Pacific Small Freight Train

As I arrived at the Stockton Lodi RV Park located on East Eight Mile Road, I saw this freight train waiting for clearance to go south. As I returned with camera in tow, the train began to move and the following video was shot.

Nice! It's amazing how many of the Southern Pacific units are still out there(although they are getting rarer). I wish that they weren't patched though.

I hate seeing yellow paint on an SP locomotive, let the locomotive show who it is! I miss seeing those locomotives, I was 3 when the SP left us, but I still remember seeing the old red and black locomotives, as much as we want them back, the UP won't let us have them. RIP SP.

Thanks for the comment, I remember to as a kid seeing the Southern Pacific show it's true colors as it passed through Santa Barbara without any ugly yellow and red paint on it.

Yeah I know, that sucks. But still it's good to see the Southern Pacific paint scheme.
