AR SDK on the N900

A basic Augmented Reality Framework for the N900.
Built on the powerful Power VR SDK, we developed an AR framework for the N900 smartphone which support:
- marker based tracking,
- face detection, tracking and recognition,
- barcode recognition,
- 3D graphics rendering,
- network support.

Enhancement and optimization are still work in progress.
Coming soon: text recognition, spatial sound, planar markerless tracking, etc.

The framework has been developed in the context of the UI-ART and MMR project (respectively in collaboration with Aalto University and Nokia).
