Inspired by S/S 2010 New York Fashion Week, I show you how to make a nude color block necklace. I love all the color block that is happening! Helps get me out of my just wearing black allllll the time syndrome. I really like how the color blocking looks with nude colors and just a smidge of rose metallic. xox c

why would you waste so much card stock? lol. trace first piece, cut done, use that to cut second piece, then cut down and use that for third piece... lol.

This would be better in a smaller scale and brighter colors. It's a neat concept and the execution is good. That large size isn't flattering though. Nude colors do nothing to compliment skin of similar tones. Some fashion week inspired things can be changed without the total inspiration being lost. Just something to keep in mind for future fashion inspired crafts.

I actually like it that size but that is the beauty of DIY, you can make it how ever you think is flattering. This was not taken from any specific accessory, just an out of my head idea based on some of the trends I have been seeing. And I looooove the colors.

I really don't think its wasting..she's just giving it volume.Personally I think it looks better because you see volume for each colour,which makes it way better than it just looking like it was pasted together..
