I want to buy a Remington 597.Some guys told me Remington 597 does jam a lot and go to Marlin Xt. what do think about bolt action or semi auto?

@mahmudabdollahi I dont know much about firearms but I would go with a semi auto because I wouldnt want to keep pulling the bolt back every time. I shot 500 plus rounds out of my remington and got one jam. The gun is easy to take down and clean. If you use better quality ammo then you wont get alot of jams because of the less amount of residue building up in the gun. I was using ammo that caused a heavy build up of residue and I think thats what caused the jam.
