This is my 5th Ninja Warrior Training Video. Enjoy.

I've always considered myself to be moderately strong, fit and healthy. I've been into weight-lifting for years; I've competed in many long-distance races, including one marathon at the young age of 16; and I've obtained the rank of Black Belt in Korean martial arts. However, it wasn't until November of 2007--the month I was introduced to the competitors of Japan's famous Sasuke "Ninja Warrior" Competition--that I realized what it really meant to be strong. Powerful men and heros such as Makoto Nagano, Mr. Ninja Warrior, and Shunsuke Nagasaki acted as the catalyst to spark my desire to compete in Ninja Warrior, and so I immediately began my training.

As I mention in the video, my goal is to compete in the SPRING, 2009 Ninja Warrior Competition (in March of 2009), and I've trained hard for it. Of course, I'll continue my training, always progressing in strength, speed, agility, endurance, and flexibility, and I'll do my best to create small videos such as this one to chart my progression.

By the time I submit my G4 American Ninja Warrior Challenge Video (right around December, 2008 / January, 2009), I hope you'll all watch and vote for me. With your votes and with your support, I'll have the opportunity to travel to Japan and represent the American People in Sasuke's 22nd Season. However, I have no intention of simply going and competing and having a good time. I'm going to win! I'm going to become the first true American Ninja Warrior, by conquering all four stages and ascending to the summit of Mount Midoriyama!

Please continue to watch my videos. As time goes on, the videos will become more and more impressive. I promise you that.

Thanks for watching and for your support. If you leave a comment, please leave one of support and encouragement. Nobody likes receiving comments intended to ridicule and tear down one's dreams.

  • Im really loving your vids, but just been busy trying to comment. Anyways your one of the strongest ninjas ive seen come, haha you came out of no where lol. Keep it up man and dont wory i believe youll get to sasuke pretty soon :)

  • Thank you for that. Just remember, when I submit my G4 entry video this winter, I'm counting on the support from people such as yourself to vote for me and get me to Sasuke 22. I can't do it without you. Thanks again.

  • your good but... you need to work on it, try not to show so much stugle when doing your exersises on video.. but i would say ya have a shot, really work on the agility strength isnt everything

  • You're right, strength isn't everything ON Stage 1 and Stage 2. However, Stages 3 and 4 are NOTHING but upper body strength, and a lot of it. I believe that if anyone has any hopes of achieving TOTAL VICTORY, you need to be unbelievably strong--just like Makoto Nagano. Thanks.

  • You're wrong. Both champions of the past relied on their lower body as well as their upper body when climbing the final rope.

    Do your homework, buddy. ;)

  • Do my homework, huh? Okay, fair enough. I say we should have ourselves a little friendly contest. Since we're both trying out for Ninja Warrior, you won't mind when I get there before you and win the whole thing, right?
